Score higher.
Think clearer.
Live coaching sessions built around your actual weak spots, your error patterns, and how the NBME thinks. Not a generic review schedule.
The approach
Not another review course.
We start from your data, not a syllabus
If you use 280Bound, we can pull your exact error patterns, weakest systems, and first-attempt accuracy before we ever meet. Every session is built around where you specifically lose points, not a generic review schedule.
Reasoning first. Facts second.
NBME questions don't test recall. They test pattern recognition and clinical decision-making under uncertainty. We teach you how to read what a question is actually asking, how to mid-stem update when a stem pivots, and how to recognize the three or four traps the item writers use over and over.
We built the question bank. We know how these questions think.
280Bound was built to the official NBME Item Writing Guide. We've written hundreds of questions designed to exploit the same cognitive biases NBME exploits. That's a different kind of fluency than just scoring high on the exam.

Common questions
Sessions run 90–120 minutes. We start with 1–2 targeted questions you work through out loud, then we unpack the clinical reasoning behind your approach: what you got right, where your thinking forked, and the pattern it illustrates. Then 2–3 slides of high-yield content on that concept before moving to the next question.
Not required, but recommended. Your 280Bound analytics let us see your real error patterns before the first session and build the question set around your exact weak spots. Without it, we start from a diagnostic instead.
Shelf reviews are capped at 8 students. The 4-Week Accelerator cohort is capped at 10. Smaller groups mean more time discussing your specific reasoning, not just watching a lecture.
Yes, individual sessions are $109/hr. Packages offer a better rate and, more importantly, better results: the continuity of working through the same curriculum across multiple sessions is what actually moves the needle.
Send us an inquiry and we'll let you know what's upcoming. Shelf reviews are scheduled around the typical clerkship calendar. Reach out a few weeks before your expected shelf date.
